We’ve all been there—trying to plan the perfect night out, only to find ourselves rushing through a meal at a busy restaurant, anxiously watching the clock, flagging down the waiter for the check, and then sprinting to make it to the theatre before the lights go down. What was meant to be a special night quickly turns into a stressful, chaotic experience. Why should a night of culture and indulgence feel like a race against time?
At Celestial Theatre, there’s no need to rush. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed into a luxurious experience where everything is seamlessly woven together. Dinner and the show are all in one place, perfectly timed for you to relax, savor, and immerse yourself in the moment.
At Celestial Theatre, everyone is a VIP. We want people of all ages to have a relaxing, upscale experience. From seniors and young couples to busy families, this is a place for the community to come together, relax, enjoy, and have an amazing sensory experience with food, drink, and entertainment. We have designed a family room so that restless children can have a moment to play when needed. We want everyone to feel like they are able to experience a no-stress evening.
We want the community to have a say in the show choices we bring to Celestial Theatre. Everyone who pledges to the Kickstarter will receive a form to voice their opinion on what shows they’d like to see. Visit our Kickstarter here.
Jamie co-owns a marketing company and has helped numerous companies grow, some from the ground up to multiple locations, and others were scaled to million-dollar months until acquired by a larger competitor. Years ago, she worked as a marketing manager at an upscale dinner theatre like the Celestial Theatre and treasured the experience. She wants to bring the beauty of that endeavor to Virginia Beach.
Lynn is the co-owner of Rich Theatre in Virginia Beach, where she produces and directs multiple shows per year, while also running a theatre education program. She holds an MFA in Acting from Regent University and a BA in Theatre Arts from Taylor University. Lynn is also a professional stage and screen actor who worked for several years in NYC, where she focused on original theatrical works. She directed projects and originated roles that were later published by Samuel French and Martin Denton’s Plays and Playwrights anthology of new works.
For this dream to become a reality, we need to pre-sell 6,000 tickets. Visit our Kickstarter page, and please consider pledging, no matter how small. Every pledge helps us reach our goal faster.
